I designed this hat for my crochet team, "CreateCrochet"
on Etsy so we could make hats to donate to "Relay for Life". It's a
basic chemo hat so anyone with fair knowledge of crochet can make it.

Abbreviations:(US terminology)
ch/s - chain/ chains
dc - double crochet
st/s - stitch/stitches
sl st - slip stitch
beg - beginning
rep - repeat
Materials:
Chunky acrylic yarn.
Crochet Hook Size:
US 7(4.50 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions:
Darning needle.
Gauge:
14 sts and 6 rows = 4"
Size:
Fits an adult head.
Circumference: 22" - 23"
Row 1 : Ch 4(Counts as 1st ch and 1 dc), 11 dc in
the beg ch, sl st in 4th ch of the beg 4 chs (13dc)
Row 2 : Ch 3, dc in same ch, 2 dc in each of next 11 sts, sl st in
ch 3 in the beg.(26dc)
Row 3 : Ch 3, 2dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) rep (
) till the end, sl st in ch 3 in the beg. (39dc)
Row 4 : 3 ch, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, (dc
in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st) rep ( ) till the end, sl st in ch 3 in the beg.

Row 5 : 3 ch, dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next st,
(dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st) rep ( ) till the end, sl st in ch 3 in the

Row 6 - 14 : 3 ch, dc in each st till the end, sl st in
ch 3 in the beg, fasten off and weave in ends with a darning needle. (65dc)
You may change color on any row to make it a multi - colored cap.
